Express Yourself Club

Express Yourself Club is a one off school holiday workshop that focuses on connecting to self, increasing self-esteem and regulation through art, play and movement.  Your child will immerse themselves in activities where they are expressing their creativity, reflection of self and engaging in regulation activities in a fun, playful and engaging way. Activities involve working together as a large group as well as individual self-reflection.

With a maximum of 8 children in the workshop to ensure a felt sense of safety and connection. This 2.5 hour workshop will be held in an inviting and quiet location that has an indoor and enclosed outdoor space.  Your children will leave with their creations as well as a goodie bag filled with fun and resources for themselves and the family.

 Who is this workshop for:

  • Children between the age of 7 – 10 year. (if there is a demand for different age ranges please still get in contact as further workshops may be added). 

  • Children who love to be creative through the medium of art, play and movement.

  • Children who are open to learning and practicing new ways of regulating.

  • Children who enjoy expressing themselves creatively.

  • Children who may need support with increasing their self-esteem and confidence.

 What to expect from the workshop:

 What to bring:

  • Just themselves – all materials are provided in the workshop

  • A water bottle, snack/morning tea and lunch (if hungry early)

  • Send your child in comfortable clothing that you are ok with getting messy (due to using art materials)

Expression of interests process. You child’s place will be held, however, is not secure until payment received and booking form completed due to high demand for workshop. Upon booking into the workshop you will receive an online form to complete and further important information will be emailed.
