Social Work Supervision
Supervision is an essential part of any Social Worker’s career to support their growth, reflection, professional identity and well-being.
As an experienced and passionate Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW), who has been practicing for close to two decades and has a diverse range of knowledge and skills, I am ready to support you through your career journey.
Throughout my career I have provided different forms of professional supervision in various roles. My experience includes supporting staff with different levels of experience undertaking a range of roles while working in management positions at a Government Department. I have also been a Supervisor / Liaison Officer for social work students who are on work placements at a WA university. As a private practice owner I now provide clinical supervision to an a variety of social workers and other professionals.
As your Social Work Supervisor, I am here to provide a nurturing and safe environment helping unpack and map-out rigorous client related work, prioritising your professional development and support your growth as Social Worker. I also ensure a space is held for your own wellbeing and self-care.
I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and follow the AASW Code of Ethics (2020) and the AASW Practice Standards (2023). My practice is informed by many theories, with those of note including: person-centred, child-centred, strengths-based, empowerment, humanistic and attachment.

Social work supervision sessions are 60 minutes and are available via video conferencing across Australia or in-person in Perth (subject to location).
